October 2022, Our Company was commissioned by JICA and went to Vietnam to do basic survey.The ultimate goal of the project is to install our company’s inverter ventilation and control system in the Saigon River Tunnel in Ho Chi Minh City.In this business trip, preliminary field survey of motorcycle traffic measurements as preliminary step has been conducted.Why do you need to measure the motorcycle traffic? The reason for this is to consider them as parameters for optimal ventilation control. There are many motorcycle riders in Vietnam, and in enclosed spaces such as tunnels, proper ventilation is essential in terms of CO concentration. In recent years, environmental concerns have increased in the country, and energy saving effect through inverter control is expected.When we actually visited the area, it seemed to be commonplace to see several vehicles running parallel to each other on one lane (for motorbikes only). Our measurement system is not designed for such complex traffic situations, which will be a challenge for future development.Actual measurements are scheduled for December,2022.
